Blair Drummond Safari Park - Sun 23rd July 2017

Good turn out for this trip, a popular one as it's on we organise so the kids and grandkids can come.
Weather was dry and cloudy when we left Dunfermline on the coach. as the day went on while we were there we actually had a little sunshine.
When we got there we started the day with a drive through the wild life enclosure.  Chance to be up close with the Rhinos and Lions to name but a few.
he tour through this takes about 30-40 minutes, and provides good photo opportunities too!
Plenty to see and do at Blair Drummond, Seal show is a favourite and it's quite amazing what the seals can do.  Not a long show, but quite entertaining.
You can spend some time walking around the animal enclosures and throughout the day there are various talks for example the penguins, a couple of the keepers came out and told everyone a little bit about them, and we got to see them feed as well.
My favourite was the Tiger enclosure, this magnificent beast strutted his stuff around the enclosure, sure glad these are not native to Scotland.
There is also a snack bar near the entrance for a nice cup of tea or coffee, prices were ok as well. Usual gift shop so you can buy a souvenir if you want.
All I can say is that those who did not go missed a good day out, it was quite relaxing strolling round the park.
